Mary Jane Williams

Mary Jane Williams is the Executive Director of Family to Family Network, a parent organization committed to making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities.

She supported the creation of the Texas Project FIRST website (www.texasprojectfirst.org), a collaborative project of Family to Family Network, Region 9 Education Service Center, and the Texas Education Agency dedicated to providing accurate and consistent information on the special education process. Mary Jane has enjoyed sharing her experiences and knowledge by speaking to thousands of families and educators across the state of Texas.  Mary Jane is a Certified Work Incentive Practitioner through Cornell University helping individuals with disabilities maintain benefits while working.

Mary Jane believes that children’s futures should not be dictated by a disability label and that family knowledge is the key to ensuring successful outcomes for their children. Her wealth of knowledge on disability issues comes from supporting two children with disability labels become successful adults.

Family to Family Network is a tiny, but mighty, non-profit that creates success for children with disabilities by empowering their families with education and training, information, referrals and extensive support as they navigate the complex education, health care, & social service systems trying to gain help for their children.
